Cottages.co.uk is an information exchange dedicated to helping people find the right holiday cottage from the right cottage agency. We do not let cottages, and we do not charge for information. No agency has to pay to appear in these listings but, importantly, they have to be good at what they do. There are companies which we refuse to list here.

Why book with an independent agency? Simply because we believe it gives you the best prospect of a good holiday. Booking direct with owners can often work perfectly well, but if it doesn’t you’re on your own. An agency has a vested interest in keeping both owners and customers happy. And in a small independent agency it’s usually the owner who gets to deal with any problems that may arise.
